Dinner with PapPap

Dinner with PapPap was expensive. We ate Italian food. The cake we had was a mousse cake....I had some strawberries. What I really liked was whipped cream.

NY City

I am at the train station waiting for the train. It is coming soon. The train is going to take us to NY City.

This is in Time Square. The flash was too bright. We went to the HUGE ToysRus and saw the huge Ferris wheel. I rode on it when I was 3.

We went to a play called Les Miserables...it is French title. In English it is The Miserables. It is about a little girl that is really poor and her mother got sick and died. Before she died she asked a kind man to take the little girl. Later on in the story, the little girl Cosette was cleaning and her caretaker told her to go get some water. Without even saying please. So she went out in the dark to get water. The kind man came to her and asked where her house was. Then he got to take the girl. He raised her as a child of his own. She grew up and fell in love with a soldier. They got married. The sad thing about this story is that alot of people died. One of the funny things is when at the wedding, they were dancing and then after the dance two of the people stuck their tongue out.

Mac and Cheese

Mac and cheese is my favorite. I made it like my Grammy did for my birthday. It was so delicious. I had a little bowl and then a big one. I was making mac and cheese so I could feed my family. I made green beans and carrots too.

Snuggle Reading

It was so much easier to read when Dragonfly wasn't crying. I got her really close so that she would snuggle. She stopped crying. Then I started reading the book Heidi. When Dragonfly woke up she looked at the pictures without crying.

Music Time

"Let's go to our music museum" said Molly.
"That's a great idea, Molly" Ted said.
"Let's go!" said Jenny.
"Wait for me. I'm coming too!" said Ed. When they arrived, they went inside and started playing pretty music. Molly had a piano to play. Ted had drums. Jenny had a lion turn which you turn and it makes a lion roar. Ed had bells.

After the museum, they were playing in a Mississippi music concert. They were not nervous about playing on stage. They felt fine. Many people came to the first night of the show, close to a million. Before they started the show, they noticed Jenny was not there. "I'm going to find Jenny" said Molly. She opened the door and there Jenny stood.
"Can we start now?" asked Ed.
"Yes! We can." said Ted.

The concert began with the song Santa Claus Coming Down the Chimney. Then they played Build a Snowman. Next they sang songs about nature and honey. The people thought the music was too noisy and odd. They were hoping the music would be softer like the sounds of the ocean. Instead the music was like a loud mountain. Ted, Ed, Jenny and Molly played A Song from a Mother's Mouth. Everyone thought the song was pretty and perfect. The more they played the song the better it got.

After the concert, the judges of the concert gave the trophy to the winners. The winners were Ted, Ed, Jenny and Molly. They were very excited to win. They jumped with excitement. The judges said "Congratulations! You played really well. We all liked the song that you played."

Yummy!

I love Hersey chocolate....it was so yummy! My tongue was filled with chocolate.

It was so easy rolling the dough with my hands but it stuck. The flour was the trick.

My favorite cookie is chocolate chip with Hersey chocolate.

Spelling Story

That Stinks!

Two lonely girls were walking to the meadow, when they saw green air. Abby said "is is a skunk? It is a skunk!"
They ran and ran. Then stopped to take a nap. When Abby and Elizabeth woke up they were surrounded by skunks. They were not lucky, when the skunks sprayed them. After being sprayed, Elizabeth said "let's take a bath, but should we use cold or hot water? I think cold."
"I think cold too."
So, when they went home and took five cold showers. They came out of the cold shower. Abby said "I hope it doesn't happen again."
"Me too! Good Night."

Art Work

There is a Redeemer

One of my favorite hymns is There is a Redeemer. I came up with another verse for it.

There is a redeemer Jesus God's own son.
There he died on that old cross
saving are sinful hearts.
Thank-you oh my Father
for giving us your son
and leaving your Spirit
til the work on earth is done.
